...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL JACKSON COUNTY
THROUGH 415 AM MDT...

At 342 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles east of Cottonwood, or 7 miles southwest of Philip, moving
southeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will affect mainly rural areas of north central Jackson
County, between Cottonwood and Kadoka

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
