...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN MEADE...
SOUTHEASTERN LAWRENCE AND CENTRAL PENNINGTON COUNTIES THROUGH 745 PM
MDT...

At 710 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Summerset, or 10 miles northwest of Rapid City, moving east at 25
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Northern Rapid City, Black Hawk, Summerset, and Piedmont.

This includes Interstate 90 in South Dakota between Mile Markers 42
and 59.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight MDT for
west central South Dakota.
