...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN MEADE COUNTY
THROUGH 230 AM MDT...
At 205 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Tilford, or 7 miles south of Sturgis, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Southern Sturgis, Summerset, Piedmont, and Tilford.
This includes Interstate 90 in South Dakota between Mile Markers 34
and 47.
