...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN MEADE COUNTY
THROUGH 1115 PM MDT...
At 1040 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles northeast of Tilford, or 13 miles east of Sturgis, moving
southeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Northwestern Ellsworth Air Force Base.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
