...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN CROOK COUNTY
THROUGH 815 PM MDT...
At 748 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 3
miles northeast of Sundance, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Sundance, Beulah, Aladdin, and Cement Ridge Lookout.
This includes Interstate 90 in Wyoming between Mile Markers 177 and
207.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
northeastern Wyoming. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch also remains in
effect until 100 AM MDT for west central South Dakota.
