.DISCUSSION...
A few morning showers and possibly a storm across northwestern SD
will give way to partly cloudy skies through early afternoon.
Additional showers and thunderstorms may develop mid-afternoon
through this evening, especially along and south of Interstate 90.
Some of these storms could be severe. High temperatures will range
from the mid 90s over south central and southwestern SD to the mid
80s across northwestern SD. Winds this afternoon will become
northerly at 10 to 15 mph, with some gusts to around 25 mph.

...LOW FIRE DANGER...

The grassland fire danger index will reach the low category this
afternoon. Favorable weather conditions or a high moisture
content of grasses, and other dry organic material on the ground,
indicate that the probability of a fast moving fire is low.
Outdoor burning under these conditions can usually be performed
with reasonable safety precautions, but should be monitored.

The outlook for Sunday afternoon, The grassland fire danger index
will reach the low category.
