.DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue through this
morning before clearing out from west to east early this
afternoon. Additional thunderstorms are possible this evening,
some of which may be strong to severe, especially across
southwestern into south central SD. Highs will be in the low to
mid 80s with afternoon humidities ranging from 40 to 55%. Winds
will be out of the east at 10 to 15 mph across southern SD and out
of the northwest across northwestern SD.

...LOW FIRE DANGER...

The grassland fire danger index will reach the low category this
afternoon. Favorable weather conditions or a high moisture
content of grasses, and other dry organic material on the ground,
indicate that the probability of a fast moving fire is low.
Outdoor burning under these conditions can usually be performed
with reasonable safety precautions, but should be monitored.

The outlook for Monday afternoon, The grassland fire danger index
will reach the low category.
