.DISCUSSION...
Additional rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected today,
some of which could be strong to severe. Otherwise, milder
temperatures are anticipated, with highs in the 70s and 80s. North
to northwest winds will increase to 10 to 20 mph this afternoon,
aside from weaker winds in the vicinity of the Black Hills. Warmer
and drier conditions return tomorrow.

...LOW FIRE DANGER...

The grassland fire danger index will reach the low category this
afternoon. Favorable weather conditions or a high moisture
content of grasses, and other dry organic material on the ground,
indicate that the probability of a fast moving fire is low.
Outdoor burning under these conditions can usually be performed
with reasonable safety precautions, but should be monitored.

The outlook for Monday afternoon, The grassland fire danger index
will reach the low category.
