.DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible this afternoon,
some storms may produce gusty winds. Afternoon temperatures will
be in the mid to upper 80s with minimum humidities dropping to 40
to 50%. Winds will be out of the northwest at 10 to 20 mph with
gusts of 25 to 30 mph. Chances for storms return Saturday
afternoon.

...LOW FIRE DANGER...

The grassland fire danger index will reach the low category this
afternoon. Favorable weather conditions or a high moisture
content of grasses, and other dry organic material on the ground,
indicate that the probability of a fast moving fire is low.
Outdoor burning under these conditions can usually be performed
with reasonable safety precautions, but should be monitored.

The outlook for Saturday afternoon, The grassland fire danger
index will reach the low category.
