Scattered showers and thunderstorm are expected across most of the area today and tonight. Afternoon high temperatures today will be seasonably warm with highs in the upper 70s to mid 80s. Winds will be from the north at 5 to 15 mph. Looking ahead to the weekend, it will be mild and dry. Highs will be in the 70s with minimum relative humidity around 30 percent. Winds will be light from the north and east.
