.DISCUSSION...For the rest of tonight, expect isolated shower/storm activity
to impact the fire site by around midnight to 1 am. Main impacts
with this activity will be rain, a few lightning strikes, and
gusty and erratic winds. Mostly cloudy through tonight with
humidities recovering to 60 to 70% and low temperatures of around
70. Winds will be light with considerable terrain variability.
Another hot day in store for Monday with highs in the low 100s
and afternoon humidities ranging from 20 to 25%. Winds will be out
of the south at 10 mph in the morning before shifting to the
north to northeast after around 2 or 3 pm as a weak front crosses
the area. Along with the wind shift, the front will bring showers
and storms to the fire site after 1 pm. Main hazards with storms
tomorrow will be gusty and erratic winds and lightning.
Expect hot weather Tuesday through the late week with highs in
the mid to upper 90s, minimum humidities ranging from 15 to 20%,
and afternoon thunderstorms.
