.DISCUSSION...Critical fire weather conditions expected tomorrow
with afternoon humidities ranging from 8 to 10%. Southerly winds
in the morning shill shift to the northwest after 11 AM and
increase to 10 to 15 mph with gusts of up to 25 mph. Afternoon
temperatures will reach the upper 90s under mostly sunny skies.
Dry conditions continue through tomorrow night with poor humidity
recovery (~44%) and lows in the upper 50s. Winds will shift from
the northwest to southeast after 11 PM, becoming light and mostly
terrain driven after 3 am.
Another hot day with near critical to critical fire weather
conditions expected on Sunday. Highs will be in the mid 90s with
afternoon humidities ranging from 11 to 13%. Light and terrain
driven winds in the morning will shift to the southeast after
noon. Then winds will shift to the north after 2 pm. Sustained
winds in the afternoon will be at 10 mph with gusts of 20 to 23
mph.
Hot and dry weather with elevated to near-critical fire weather
conditions expected to persist through Tuesday.
