.DISCUSSION...
Widespread wetting rains are anticipated east of the Black Hills
today through early Friday. Windy conditions are also expected
as a low pressure system rapidly strengthens to our east, with
gusts over 60 mph possible over much of the western South Dakota
plains and gusts to around 40 mph anticipated over northeastern
Wyoming.
After a brief lull in precipitation late Friday into Saturday, a
return to unsettled conditions with areas of heavy precipitation
is anticipated late this weekend through the first half of next
week.
