FIRE WEATHER ZONES 325, 326, 331, 332, 333, 334, AND 335...
.DISCUSSION...Warm and dry conditions will persist through
Thursday with elevated to near-critical fire weather conditions.
Thursday will see the warmest temperatures with 70s/low 80s likely
across the western SD plains. Warm temps and dry air will support
RH`s down into the teens over southwest through central SD. In
addition, gusty SW winds over 30 mph are expected. Given these
concerns, have issued a fire weather watch for Thursday. After
Thursday, a strong cold front will bring strong northwest winds
to the region Friday along with cooler temperatures and chances
for rain and snow. Expect cooler temperatures this weekend, with
elevated to near critical fire weather conditions possible again
