.DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms over western South
Dakota will diminish today with smoky conditions persisting
through tonight. Elevated fire danger is expected Thursday as a
strong dry cold front moves through the area. Minimum relative
humidity values will drop into the 20s with wind gusts peaking at
40-55mph on the open plains. Cooler weather Friday will replaced
by a warming trend into early next week. Precipitation chances
will be minimal.
