WEATHER ZONES 317, 321, 322, 325, 326, AND 332...
.DISCUSSION...Breezy northwest winds will develop through this morning
into the afternoon hours as a cold front pushes through the
region. Wind gusts of 30-40 mph and humidities in the mid teens to
mid 20s will lead to near-critical to critical fire weather
conditions across much of the area. A Red Flag Warning is in
effect for much of southwestern SD where widespread critical fire
weather conditions are expected. Isolated thunderstorms are
possible over northeastern WY this afternoon and evening. Main
hazards with any storms that develop will be lightning and gusty,
erratic winds.
Cooler and more humid weather with chances for showers and
thunderstorms will decrease fire weather concerns over the
weekend.
