Water vapor shows upper trof over the Northern Plains, upper ridge

region in wake of the overnight cold front, with high building

in the 20s to lower 30s.

Snow will diminish from west to east this evening, with clearing
skies overnight as surface high builds into the western Dakotas.
Lows in the single digits and teens.

Drier and slightly warmer weather expected Monday into Tuesday
with transitory upper ridge moving through. Next cold front
arrives late Tuesday and early Wednesday as the next upper trof
crosses the Northern Plains. Little moisture to work with, with
only a few light snow showers expected late Tuesday into
Wednesday.

Somewhat disturbed west/northwest flow expected the the rest of
the week, with a couple reinforcing shots of colder air late in
the week into the weekend. Could be a bit of light snow at times,
but nothing significant expected.
