A bit of light snow at times with little accumulation. && .DISCUSSION...(This Evening Through Sunday) Issued at 1236 PM MST Sun Nov 24 2024 Water vapor shows upper trof over the Northern Plains, upper ridge building into the Northern Rockies, and upper low offshore the Pac NW. At the surface, gusty northwest winds continue across the region in wake of the overnight cold front, with high building into MT. Areas of light snow continue with early afternoon highs in the 20s to lower 30s. Snow will diminish from west to east this evening, with clearing skies overnight as surface high builds into the western Dakotas. Lows in the single digits and teens. Drier and slightly warmer weather expected Monday into Tuesday with transitory upper ridge moving through. Next cold front arrives late Tuesday and early Wednesday as the next upper trof crosses the Northern Plains. Little moisture to work with, with only a few light snow showers expected late Tuesday into Wednesday. Somewhat disturbed west/northwest flow expected the the rest of the week, with a couple reinforcing shots of colder air late in the week into the weekend. Could be a bit of light snow at times, but nothing significant expected. && .AVIATION...(For the 00Z TAFS Through 00Z Monday Evening) Issued At 418 PM MST Sun Nov 24 2024 Light snow will push southeast out of the FA this evening, mostly impacting areas south of I-90.
