...Extreme Heat Warning for lower valleys and canyons....

.DISCUSSION...Hot and dry trend expected through the weekend.
Temperatures will be in the upper 80s to low 90s each afternoon in
the mid slopes to upper ridges. Low locations and canyons will
see hotter temperatures, therefore Extreme Heat Warning in effect
for the lower valley and canyon bottoms through Tuesday.
Temperatures will continue to climb above seasonal normals by the
middle of next week. There will a small push of monsoonal
moisture to provide slight chances for rain showers and
thunderstorms on Tuesday.
