Forecast is based on forecast start time of 0600 MST on August 21.

.DISCUSSION...Four Corners High will bring chances for rain
showers and thunderstorms through the start of the weekend.
Today`s thunderstorms will form as early as 1100 hours, around
the fire area. Storms will be moving west to southwest throughout
the day. These storms are capable of producing gusty and erratic
winds and locally brief heavy rainfall. The area has a 40 percent
chance to receive at least a tenth of an inch. Rain and storm
chances will drop off after 1900 hours today. Winds will generally
be terrain driven in the early morning hours becoming south-
southwesterly at speeds less than 10 mph. Min RHs will be 27-30
percent today and then dropping down to 23 percent for tomorrow.

                    showers and thunderstorms late in the morning.
                    Showers and thunderstorms likely late in the
                    afternoon.
Chance of pcpn......Increasing to 50 percent late in the

                    afternoon.
