...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1245 AM MST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of South Central Arizona, including the
  following county, north central Pima.

* WHEN...Until 1245 AM MST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 942 PM MST, gauge reports indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms over Brawley Wash. Minor flooding is ongoing or
    expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.8
    and 1 inch of rain has fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Picture Rocks.
  - This includes the following Flash Flood Prone Locations...
    Manville Rd at Brawley Wash.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
