...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 PM MST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of South Central Arizona, including the
  following county, northern Pima.

* WHEN...Until 845 PM MST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 638 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms on the northwest side of Tucson centered from
    Dove Mountain eastward into Oro Valley. This will cause urban
    and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has
    fallen.
  - This includes the following streams and drainages...
    Chalk Creek, Big Wash, Sutherland Wash, Santa Cruz River,
    Oro, Caada del and Indian Well Wash.
    Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Catalina, Oro Valley, Marana, Casas Adobes, Tortolita,
    Catalina State Park, Picture Rocks and Dove Mountain.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
