...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 715 PM MST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of Southeast Arizona, including the following
  county, southwestern Cochise.

* WHEN...Until 715 PM MST.

* IMPACTS...Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 513 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms, from the Sierra Vista area southeastward
    towards Hereford and Palominas. This will cause urban and
    small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain
    have fallen, especially in the Hereford area.
  - This includes the following streams and drainages...
    Babocomari River, Slaughter House Wash, Spring Creek and San
    Pedro River.
    Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Sierra Vista, Hereford, Naco, Fort Huachuca, Palominas and
    Ramsey Canyon Preserve.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
