Fire Danger Statement
National Weather Service Tulsa OK
148 AM CST Tue Dec 30 2025

...ELEVATED TO NEAR CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS TODAY...

Elevated to locally, near critical fire weather conditions will
exist this afternoon across portions of eastern Oklahoma along and
west of Highway 75, as well as the higher terrain areas of
southeast Oklahoma.

Very low relative humidities, ranging from 15 to 25 percent, are
forecast this afternoon, and along with increasingly dry and
receptive fuels from a lack of rainfall, will lead to the
increased fire weather concerns. West to southwest winds at 5 to
10 mph, gusting to around 15 mph, will serve as a limit on the
overall fire weather threat.

Avoid outdoor activities that could inadvertently start a fire,
including disposing of cigarettes properly. Report any wildfires
to local officials.
