Rating: EF1 Estimated Peak Wind: 100 to 110 mph Path Length /statute/: 3.0 miles Path Width /maximum/: 250 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 04/20/2025 Start Time: 02:41 PM CDT Start Location: 2 SSE Wheeler / Washington County / AR Start Lat/Lon: 36.089 / -94.243 End Date: 04/20/2025 End Time: 02:44 PM CDT End Location: 2 WSW Johnson / Washington County / AR End Lat/Lon: 36.120 / -94.206 Survey Summary: This tornado developed just south of Jess Anderson Road and north of Highway 16. The tornado moved northeast, uprooting trees and snapping large tree limbs as it crossed Jess Anderson Road and Wheeler Road. The tornado damage numerous homes in a neighborhood along and just west of Hughmount Road, several of which sustained significant roof damage and broken windows. It continued to damage the roofs of homes and uproot trees as it crossed Weir Road, Rupple Road, and Howard Nickell Road. It dissipated north of Howard Nickell Road and west of Salem Road. && EF Scale: The Enhanced Fujita Scale classifies tornadoes into the following categories: EF0.....65 to 85 mph EF1.....86 to 110 mph EF2.....111 to 135 mph EF3.....136 to 165 mph EF4.....166 to 200 mph EF5.....>200 mph NOTE: The information in this statement is preliminary and subject to change pending final review of the event and publication in NWS Storm Data. $$ EJC/BM
