THUNDERSTORMS WITH DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.
RISK...Limited.
AREA...West Central Arkansas.
ONSET...Ongoing.

DISCUSSION...
A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms remains this
afternoon across mainly west central Arkansas as a weak frontal
boundary moves southeast through the region. Precipitation
chances taper off late this afternoon with the exiting front.
Severe weather is not expected.

SUNDAY AND MONDAY...High Wind Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Ridge of high pressure is forecast to set up again over the
Southern Plains late week through the weekend. In response,
southerly winds and above seasonal average temperatures return
over the weekend into early next week. Gusty winds Sunday
afternoon could create limited fire weather concerns across
portions of northeast Oklahoma.
