Additional storms are forecast to develop during the afternoon
near a weak boundary which will extend across northeast Oklahoma
into far northwest Arkansas. Any storms which develop this
afternoon may become strong to severe. Locally damaging outflow
winds will be the primary hazard. Isolated heavy rainfall amounts

Oklahoma and far northwest Arkansas.

A prolonged period of hot and humid conditions is forecast
for this weekend through at least the middle of next week.

with warm overnight low temperatures will raise the heat
