This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

.DAY ONE...This Evening and Tonight.

SIGNIFICANT WINDS.
RISK...Limited.
AREA...Eastern Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas.
ONSET...Ongoing Through Early Evening.

DISCUSSION...
North to northwesterly winds gusting 15 to around 25 mph will
remain common into early evening before weakening through the
evening hours. Lighter winds along with mostly clear skies and
Canadian high pressure over the region tonight will create
widespread hard freeze conditions. Freeze warning remains in
effect this evening into Monday morning for eastern Oklahoma and
northwest Arkansas. Wind chill values in the teens to low 20s are
forecast over the region early Monday morning.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Spotter Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
MONDAY AND TUESDAY...High Wind Potential.
WEDNESDAY...No Hazards.
THURSDAY AND FRIDAY...High Wind Potential.
SATURDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...High Wind Potential...Heavy
Rain Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Surface high pressure exits the region Monday night allowing for a
return of gusty southwesterly winds across the forecast area
through the day Tuesday. These winds help to erode the colder air
and allow for a warming trend to develop Tuesday, with above
seasonal average temperatures for the second half of the week.
During the weekend, a low pressure system is forecast to move into
the Plains and bring thunderstorm chances back to eastern Oklahoma
and northwest Arkansas. Severe weather cannot be ruled out, but there
is significant uncertainty in the pattern with minimal confidence
on any details.
