AREA...Southeast Oklahoma.
ONSET...Ongoing.

DISCUSSION...
A few showers and thunderstorms are ongoing across portions of
southeast Oklahoma early this afternoon. A very low chance of
locally heavy rainfall exist through mid afternoon. Expect
coverage to diminish through late afternoon and evening.

SUNDAY AND MONDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY...No Hazards.
THURSDAY AND FRIDAY...Dangerous Heat Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Shower and thunderstorm chances will return to parts of northeast
Oklahoma west of Highway 75 Sunday and the rest of eastern
Oklahoma and far western Arkansas late Sunday into early Monday.
Locally heavy rainfall will be possible with these storms as well.
Hot and humid weather will return for the latter half of next
week, with heat index values climbing back over the century mark.
