SEVERE THUNDERSTORM. RISK...Limited. AREA...Mainly Northeast Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas. ONSET...Ongoing. DANGEROUS HEAT. RISK...Elevated. AREA...Eastern Oklahoma and West Central Arkansas. ONSET...Ongoing. DISCUSSION... Scattered thunderstorms will continue into the early evening across southeast Oklahoma, and across far northeast Oklahoma into northwest Arkansas. These storms may produce isolated damaging wind gusts before dissipating after sunset. A complex of thunderstorms may develop across northwest Oklahoma and southwest Kansas this afternoon and early evening. If these storms do develop, they may track east into parts of northeast Oklahoma and possibly far northwest Arkansas by late this evening and overnight. Damaging downburst winds may be possible with a few of these storms as well overnight. SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
