much of Eastern Oklahoma.

.DAY ONE...This Evening and Tonight.

DISCUSSION...
Hazardous weather is not expected across eastern Oklahoma and
northwest Arkansas through tonight.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Spotter Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY...High Wind Potential.
MONDAY...No Hazards.
TUESDAY...High Wind Potential.
WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY...No Hazards.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Unseasonably warm temperatures and dry conditions will prevail
into Saturday, but sharply colder temperatures arrive following a
strong Arctic cold front Saturday night. High temperatures on
Sunday and Monday are expected to be around 20 degrees below
normal. Sunday night into Monday morning is likely to feature the
coldest temperatures of the season so far. A high chance of a
widespread hard freeze exists Sunday night and for some locations,
a medium to high chance of a killing freeze. In addition to the
cold temperatures, the front will usher strong and gusty
northwest winds into the region Saturday night and Sunday, leading
to even lower feels like temperatures. The cold snap will be
fairly short-lived, with warmer weather appearing likely
beginning Tuesday. Predominantly dry conditions are likely to
persist over the next several days.
