.DISCUSSION...
Significantly cooler temperatures will occur during the daytime
Thursday behind a passing cold front on Thursday morning. Light
and variable surface winds before sunrise Thursday morning will
switch out of the north behind the front, remaining light through
the daytime. The frontal boundary will bring a medium to high
chance of wetting rains, with scattered to numerous showers and
thunderstorms near the front. Storms will be capable of producing
very heavy rainfall and gusty winds. Precipitation chances will
decrease through the morning and into the afternoon Thursday,
becoming mostly dry by mid afternoon. Skies stay mostly cloudy
Thursday night, with overnight lows dropping into the middle 60s.
The cold front will lift back northward Thursday night into
Friday, maintaining some cloud cover and low precipitation chances
through the daytime Friday. Southerly winds will return Friday
morning and will remain fairly light through the daytime.
