.DISCUSSION... Unseasonably hot and dry weather will continue
through the next week. There remains only a slight (10 to
20 percent) chance of showers across far southeast Oklahoma
Thursday. Meaningful rainfall amounts are not expected. Periods
of breezy and gusty winds will locally raise fire weather
concerns, especially across northeast Oklahoma where winds will
likely be breeziest during the afternoons. Locally higher fire
weather concerns also continue for southeast Oklahoma with
ongoing drought conditions and localized gusty winds. County
level burn bans are ongoing across the region.
