Fire weather conditions remain an increasing concern as fuels
continue to dry and temperatures remain hot. A weak front will
remain stalled across the area this afternoon. A few
thunderstorms are forecast into southeast Oklahoma this
afternoon. Some of these storms may produce localized gusty
downburst winds, which could affect any ongoing fire fighting
efforts. Widespread meaningful rainfall is not expected. Another
weak front arrives into Thursday with somewhat cooler conditions
(still above normal) along with a slight chance of showers and
storms for northern areas.
