Fire Weather Planning Forecast
National Weather Service Tulsa OK
139 PM CDT Thu Sep 10 2026

RED FLAG...None.

.DISCUSSION... A slow-moving cold front will sag across eastern
Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas tonight and into Thursday,
bringing increasing potential for showers and thunderstorms and a
brief cooldown. A few areas may see wetting rains but the overall
rainfall amounts will not be enough to slow the worsening drought
and increasing fire weather concerns. The cooler conditions will
likely extend into Friday before unseasonably hot weather returns
for the weekend and into next week.
