.DISCUSSION...
Above seasonal average temperatures combined with southerly winds
gusting 15 to around 25 mph, and afternoon relative humidity
values falling to around 30 percent will create limited grassland
fire weather danger this afternoon for portions of northeast
Oklahoma. Area of greater concern is west of Highway 75 and south
of U.S. Highway 412, where locations are a few weeks removed from
significant rainfall. These conditions and limited grassland fire
weather danger are anticipated again Sunday afternoon, though low
level moisture is forecast to begin increasing during the
afternoon hours. Low rain chances return during the day Monday and
continue into Tuesday as a weak frontal boundary moves through the
region.
