...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE MONDAY EVENING...
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Neosho River near Commerce.
* WHEN...Until late Monday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, moderate agricultural flooding occurs.
Riverview Park experiences moderate flooding. State Highway 125
near the fairgrounds will be closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 19.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to slowly rise to a crest of
20.0 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall slightly to
19.7 feet Saturday evening before rising again to 20.0 feet
Sunday morning. The river is expected to fall below flood
stage Monday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
