At 1142 PM, National Weather Service radar detected a large area of
showers and thunderstorms over much of eastern Oklahoma and
northwest Arkansas and also north of I44. Thunderstorms with locally
heavy rain were located in Washington, Creek and Osage counties in
Oklahoma. The precipitation was in the Tulsa area. The precipitation
was in the Bentonville, Rogers and Fayetteville area. Movement was
to the northeast at around 30 mph. . Intensity increased during the
last hour. The Tulsa area forecast for overnight, occasional showers
with thunderstorms likely with heavy rainfall and temperatures 51 to
61 degrees along with northeast winds 5 to 10 mph.
