showers and thunderstorms generally in northwest Arkansas and also
north of I44 and also east of a Eufaula to Hugo line. The
precipitation was heaviest in Osage county in Oklahoma and Sebastian
county in Arkansas. The precipitation was in the Tulsa and Fort
Smith areas. Movement was to the northeast at greater than 40 mph. .
Intensity increased during the last hour. The Tulsa area forecast
for late this afternoon, cloudy, showers likely and a chance of
thunderstorms with temperatures 55 to 58 degrees and northeast winds
5 to 15 mph.
