At 642 AM, National Weather Service radar detected a large area of
showers and thunderstorms generally over parts of eastern Oklahoma
and northwest Arkansas, also north of I44 and east of highway 75 and
also south of I44 and east of the Muskogee Turnpike. The
precipitation was heaviest in Creek and Osage counties in Oklahoma.
The precipitation was in the Tulsa area. Movement was to the
northeast at greater than 40 mph. . Intensity increased during the
last hour. The Tulsa area forecast for early this morning,
occasional showers and a chance of thunderstorms with heavy rainfall
and temperatures 56 to 64 degrees along with southeast winds 5 to 15
mph.

showers likely and a slight chance of thunderstorms with heavy
rainfall and temperatures 64 to 70 degrees along with southeast
