At 1228 PM, National Weather Service radar detected scattered
showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain mainly west of a
Tulsa to McAlester line, also north of I44 and east of highway 75
and also south of I44 and east of the Muskogee Turnpike.
Thunderstorms with locally heavy rain were located in Washington,
Tulsa and Rogers counties in Oklahoma. Movement was to the north at
around 30 mph. The average amount where it rained last hour was
around one tenth of an inch with maximum amounts of three quarters
to around an inch. Coverage and intensity remained about the same as
last hour. The Tulsa area forecast for early this afternoon, cloudy,
occasional showers with thunderstorms likely with temperatures 57 to
64 degrees and east winds 5 to 15 mph.
