The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southwestern Franklin County in east central Kansas...
  Anderson County in east central Kansas...

* Until 1015 PM CDT.

* At 942 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 4 miles west of Lane to 5 miles northeast of Neosho
  Falls, moving southeast at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Garnett, Richmond, Colony, Greeley, Princeton, Kincaid, and Lone
  Elm.

This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 172 and 179.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for east central
