SOUTHEASTERN DOUGLAS...SOUTHERN OSAGE AND COFFEY COUNTIES THROUGH
1100 PM CST...

At 1033 PM CST, a line of heavy snow showers was located along a
line extending from 4 miles west of Gardner to near Pomona to 3
miles north of Lebo. Movement was southeast at 45 mph.

Visibilities will drop quickly to less than a quarter of a mile in
this line of snow.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph are also possible.

Locations impacted include...
Ottawa, Baldwin City, Garnett, Burlington, Wellsville, Centropolis,
Lebo, Pomona, Waverly, Richmond, Colony, Williamsburg, New Strawn,
Quenemo, Melvern, Greeley, Princeton, Lane, Rantoul, and Westphalia.

This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 144 and 198.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be
prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra
time when traveling.
