...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN MORRIS AND
SOUTHWESTERN WABAUNSEE COUNTIES THROUGH 745 PM CDT...

At 659 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5
miles east of Alta Vista, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow
         around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Alma, Alta Vista, and Volland.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
