This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Kansas,
east central Kansas, north central Kansas, and northeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Extreme fire danger is forecast for Monday and Tuesday. A Red Flag
Warning is posted for the entire area Monday afternoon. Southwest
winds are forecast to gust up to 35 MPH while relative humidity
values fall as low as 15 to 20 percent. Similar conditions are
expected on Tuesday and another Red Flag warning may be needed.

An intense storm system is forecast to move across the area
Tuesday night and Wednesday. The storm is expected to bring strong
winds, thunderstorms and even snow on the back side. The snow
combined with the strong winds gusting to 50 MPH could bring near
blizzard conditions to parts of north central Kansas for a few
hours Wednesday morning. A Winter Storm Watch has been posted for
Cloud, Republic, Washington and Marshall counties for late Tuesday
night into Wednesday.
