...EXTREME HEAT WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
TUESDAY EVENING...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Kansas, east central
Kansas, north central Kansas and northeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Localized heavy rainfall may be possible through mid morning mainly
over east central and northeastern Kansas which may lead to flooding
of creeks and streams.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

A prolonged stretch of heat returns to the area Saturday through at
least Tuesday with heat index values from around 105 to 110 degrees
at most locations. Practice heat safety this weekend into next week.

Spotters are encouraged to report rainfall amounts over one inch and
any flooding to the National Weather Service in Topeka.
