.DISCUSSION...
Hot conditions will continue the next few days, with temperatures
mostly in the upper 90s. Humidity will be highest towards
northeast Kansas, staying above 50 percent, and lowest towards
central Kansas, dropping as low as 30 percent. Deep mixing will keep smoke dispersal
good to excellent. Scattered storm chances are possible over central
and portions of northeast Kansas late this afternoon into the evening.
Periodic storm chances continue Friday and Saturday evenings, primarily
over north central Kansas. A cold front arrives Sunday, cooling temps
back into the 80s and low 90s into early next week.
