...The National Weather Service in Topeka KS has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Kansas...

  Salt Creek near Lyndon affecting Osage County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL TOMORROW AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Salt Creek near Lyndon.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Minor low land flooding begins in farm
  field just west of the Highway 75 bridge.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:17 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 9.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this evening to a crest of 12.0 feet just after midnight
    tonight. It will then fall below flood stage late tonight.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
