...FLOOD WATCH IS CANCELLED...

The Flood Watch is cancelled for portions of north central and
northeast Kansas, including the following areas, in north central
Kansas, Clay, Cloud, Republic and Washington. In northeast Kansas,
Brown, Jackson, Marshall, Nemaha, Pottawatomie and Riley.

Widespread flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH MONDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of east central and northeast Kansas, including
  the following counties, in east central Kansas, Anderson, Coffey,
  Douglas, Franklin, Geary, Lyon, Morris, Osage, Shawnee and
  Wabaunsee. In northeast Kansas, Jefferson.

* WHEN...Through Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Thunderstorms will impact the area beginning late this
    afternoon and continuing into Monday morning. Rainfall rates
    of 1 to 3 inches per hour are likely which could lead to
    flooding, especially if storms move over the same areas.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.

  the following counties, in central Kansas, Dickinson. In north
  central Kansas, Ottawa.

* WHEN...Through Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Thunderstorms will impact the area beginning evening and
    continuing into Monday morning. Rainfall rates of 1 to 3
    inches per hour are likely which could lead to flooding,
    especially if storms move over the same areas.
