Total snow accumulations between 5 and 10 inches. Winds gusting as high as 75 mph along the east slopes of the Rocky Mountain Front. For the Winter Storm Watch, heavy snow possible with additional snow accumulations of 5 to 10 inches possible. Up to 2 feet of storm total snow accumulation in the mountains of Glacier National Park by Monday. * WHERE...The Continental Divide along the Rocky Mountain Front. * WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, from 8 AM this morning to 5 AM MST Sunday. For the Winter Storm Watch, from late Saturday night through Monday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Tire chains may be required for some vehicles if traveling through mountain passes. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...This will be a long duration snow event; with periods of light snow in between rounds of heavier snow. The heaviest round of snowfall is expected to occur from Friday night through Saturday morning, with snowfall rates of between half of an inch to one inch per hour.
