At 2 PM, scattered showers and thunderstorms are developing over
North Central and Central MT. Some storms will produce wind gusts
over 40 mph, along with brief heavy rainfall, lightning and small
hail.

Those outside recreating should be alert for thunderstorms moving
in quickly. Have a safe place to go should you see lightning or
hear thunder.

Reminder, lightning can strike up to 10 miles away from a
thunderstorm.
